Im after a set of S4 wheels
But dont want to lose my ABS and need to see if i can fit reluctor ring to S4 discs. Yes they will fit your S4 but you need discs from 796/1100 as thet are 5 bolt Not sure if front spacers may need adjusting or not though. Regards Rick |

Looks great.
How do you secure the tax disc on the fork and the rear reflector on the number plate? |

Hi Simon
Tax disc is held on with waterproof clear tape cut into a circle. Kin Hate bolt on Tax disc Holders. Rear reflector is a piece of 50 x 60mm 2mm ally sprayed black and a kink bent into it. then eBay self adhesive reflector and some foam tape onto the back of the plate. Local Plod don't seem to see the tiny plate if it has a reflector under it. (PROB MY IMAGINATION) |

I don't like the style of the new Monsters, especially the droopy, melted headlamp and I hate 2 into 1 pipes on twins, but... yours ain't too bad! Dunno why.
Still needs some viagra in the headlamp- cheaper now it's just come off license too! Is the arse always up in the air like a 90's streetfighter or does it level down when sat on like the original Monsters?

Hi Rick,
Bike looks great, very nicely done Why are you going to swap out for a custom akrapovic, when you have the Remus? interested on your thoughts? I've been looking at pipes for the 1100 evo, not that many around and like you, I've a liking to the single pipe rather than twin, but all I've found so far is the Remus Hypercone you have fitted or the GPR Powercone, which looks a bit more round/organic compared to the remus' angular look. So, I'm really struggling to find a good single pipe and the remus does have some pretty good feedback from those who've fitted them. I've thought about a custom one, such as the skorpion RP-1 GP, but like you said, you have to craft up a link pipe and I'm not sure about the fuelling and air filter situation on that exhaust..... any thoughts? Cheers. |

Hi All
A few more bits done over weekend Gold DID Chain as my original goes red every time it rains and getting fed up of de rusting it.! Ohlins Shock arrived and fitted. Evotech exhaust hanger arrived. Skidmarx Belly pan on for winter. Rizoma raised Handlebars in Black (Rizoma MA008B) for CB1000R/Z1000 (Powder coated top yoke/riser and headlamp housing in black. Also replaced my Cambelts & Changed oil and filter and checked valve clearances which are still in spec (used genuine fliter and belts and correct Shell oil). Still got spanner icon showing on dash so need to get Parkies to turn that off (If they will) belts from Moto Rapido via Ebay Regards Rick (looking forward to Box Hill Monster meet) Last edited by Cobra88; 07-10-2013 at 02:17 PM.. |

Make sure you stick it on with Sikaflex 221...no ugly screws/bolts to be seen then

Looks great mate !! Just like mine
Couple of questions: How are you finding the ride with the Ohlins rear shock compared to standard? How do you find riding with no mirrors? What are the shiney red bits around your rear wheel ? Cheers mate, great work !!! |
