Still not very comfortable as previoise bike was completely different, looks like I have to ride a lot and get some advise from proper riders.

I'm sure you'll fit into the bike well. Very few complaints about the new Monsters from current owners

hello and welcome

the 796 is a stonkingly good bike, just push your butt back and grip the tank with your knees to avoid crushing your family jewels and you will find a very comfortable bike that rides wonderfully even on very long rides (did 280 miles the other week with out any num bum issues)

im in crouch end/hornsey, a few of us take rides out into the shires from time to time, keep an eye out for posts and hope to see you out there one day

we also have an adhoc monthly meet at fatboys diner in docklands on first sat of every month which just so happens to be this sat although i have not seen a post from our illustrious president and london rep as hes probably in a datacentre dungeon somewhere and hasnt realised its May outside now ;-)

Haven't been to the Ace for years, too crowded. My Monster's still in Normandy, so I've only got the scoot for the moment.

On Ducatisti, there's a Box Hill meet on the second Saturday of a month; much more convenient from SW London.
