BTW Al, I need some advice on a sticking throttle twist grip! Can't get the bloody thing off!

Whats the problem, is the throttle not returning?

It's the Toyota S4, isn't it? I believe they've got problems...

Hi Al, Yes - the throttle twist grip will not move easily. The cable return fine when disconnected from the twist grip.

Check the bar end isn't touching the twistgrip barrel, don't be tempted to lube the inside!
If you've had it apart its very easy to get the cables mis-routed which doesn't allow it to return properly.

Hi Al,

Thanks for the advice. It doesn't seem to be rubbing on the bar end but I did try and remove the bar end ried to remove the bar end and rounded the hex nut with the allen key! So started to drill it out and destroyed 4 drill bits i the process and still have not got it off!
