I've just had a text message from Catherine with the sad news.

I'm in shock really.

He really was one of life's good guys, and will be missed by many.

Having spent some time with Mark over the last few years I considered him a friend, and will be travelling to his funeral.
Hopefully I can go on my Monster in his honour, and it would be good to travel over with anyone else going over from the South coast.
Or I can go by car, and having a 7 seater I'm happy to pick people up or take anyone that wants to meet me at my place beforehand.

Very sad to hear of Mark’s passing. He was always very welcoming when I met him at the Hants/Wilts breakfast meets.

Sad to hear this - I've not been on the forum for long, but he was an ever-present.

Sad news indeed. Mark was always happy to share knowledge and he encouraged me to persevere with my M900. RIP Mark.

Is anyone else attending Marks Funeral on Friday?

I had told Catherine I'd turn up on my Monster in his honour, but I'm not so sure now looking at the weather.

If it were not in the middle of December during a named storm I would be there on my Monster.
Why not have a run in his memory next Summer? I would ride the 200 miles for that, as I'm sure others would.
We will hopefully be having a run in honour of Capo next Summer.

It was always good to catch up at the Wiltshire/Hampshire breakfasts and ride outs. Rest easy Darkness.
