If it helps my 07 S2R is exempt but my wife's previous 09 Golf (TDI) was subject to the charge

Although the pre- and post-2007 S2R 800 motors might be the same, the exhaust system changed in 2007 when it went from Euro 2 to Euro 3, gaining a lambda sensor in the process.

Both my 2000 carby Monster 750 and 2001 EFI S4 have big Euro 3 stickers on the airboxes ,, but Im thinking neither woukd get into ULEZ zone ?????

Just put my reg into the ulez checker & found i'm exempt... 2008 s2r 1000 ...& strangely my ancient old 2001 petrol merc is exempt as well...which is handy as i drive up to london a far bit in it..

That is my point automated cutoff is older then mid 2007 is a no unless proven otherwise. Many are ok but peeps will pay.

Euro 3 yes NOx which is the main measure for ulez it might be OK with.

As an aside to this, but related.
I heard that they are going to put up the road tax for cars exceeding 191g/kg of CO2, to £500 a year. That bracket is currently £305 I think. It kind of kills my dream of an Alfa V6 as there is nothing below 202g/kg on my wish list! At the other end of the scale, my Commando won't even need an MOT.

When they extend to n and s circ I'll prob get a new bike. That said as someone pointed out to me, the logic of spending £6k to avoid £250 p year on ulez charges is a little flawed, but it's a new bike
