I was thinking we can ride up there...have a drink and a natter and head back. If anyone does want a bite to eat though then that's fine.

We'll have plenty of time to get something to eat before we leave and I imagine that most people wait until we get back to Squires for their teas.

Squires cater for all tastes and do everything from choccy and snacks to 3 course meals if I remember correctly (don't expect napkins and tableclothes though!

)

If we get back at 6 then that gives us 2 hours to get some tea before the first band comes on at 8pm

Hey Tigerlil,

Rod and I won't make the rideout, leaving at some point in the morning tomorrow. Will book in to our hotel and make our way to Squires with Benson in time for food and entertainment! See you tomorrow, will text you when we get up Norf.

Tent, change of socks and lucky pants.... (what else could i need)...

luck thats what i need.. an urgent job came in yesterday and as i am the only one there that can weld Aluminium i have to work Saturday and Sunday
so have a drink for me and have a good time..

We are in the middle of our Joint Area Review of the whole of the Children's Service and I have been given a pile of reading to do for the interviews with the insepctors on Monday so you will all need to have a great time and think of me as I will be here instead...

Sorry guys and girls, I came down with a really bad case of something horrible yesterday which has had me laid up for the last couple of days. I won't go into details but it wasn't pleasant!!

Anyway, as a result, I won't be able to make this weekend. :-( How gutted am I?! If I'm feeling up to it I might ride up for the day tomorrow. More than likely not though so could somebody, or better still, everybody have lots of drinks for me please?
