I'm partial to a bit o carbon myself. But I doubt anyone would notice much of a difference if i changed the Gazza ring from the black it already is? Methinks the sixty quid is better in my wallet that the hydro dippers...

Incidentally Mr G, how do you find the reflection of road signs (large chevron types especially) on unlit roads at night with the LED on high beam? I ask as my LED light equipped Guzzi V7 is so bright and white I have to go back to dip a lot of time as it’s simply too dazzling from them to see the road properly- which kind of defeats the purpose.

Just to be clear I run H4 LEDs in conventional 7" lamp units and not the specific LED lamp units.
It's a mixed bag, I've tried so many lamps and bulbs now and not kept a particular record. Some do throw their light up to the left and I get dazzle from the very reflective signs. Sometimes dip is worse than main as dip will always orientate towards the nearside and a bit of "up scatter" is designed in for the very purpose of illuminating signs. So when you start playing with bulbs or LEDs not designed for the particular lamp, you tend to get different and sometimes very strange results. I had one combo that dipped almost vertically to the left. Most H4 LEDs have the dip beam permanently on and only the main switches in and out, so if it's the dip that is causing all the glare from the signage, you're a bit stuck. I haven't found the holy grail yet, so all I can say is keep looking.

Hello Andy and welcome to the club.
I have replied to your pm, and yes I still have stock. Strange! I usually sell these when the nights are drawing in, not this time of year..
