Brilliant turn out today, nice one......it was great to see so many out and new faces too......we even managed a decent bimble through Ellesmere, Wrexham and Ruthin before the weather turned.

Hope you got back safe and sound Jim, you had furthest to travel , I hear Chris had a lucky near miss due to a loose side stand bolt.....all sorted by Geoff,
Pezz and Andyg, great to meet you guys, the first of many ride outs I hope, hope you both beat the weather , just made it myself so I suspect you may have got a bit wet !!!!!

Andyb and annabel .......I think you may have got caught too, am glad you were wrong on the forcast Andy....

I will post some photos later on but on a different thread......as soon as I have opened a Flickr account

i did try to take a few pics as you left, but in my rush, had me thumb over the camera.

What a great turn out, I must apologise for not doing the ride out but needs must...
Made it back to my place and fixed Chris's side stand bolt ( you really have to keep an eye on them) had a cuppa and bid good bye to Chris and then crashed out for a couple of hours.

Thanks to all that attended you know it's slowly coming together, it's a great little cafe but the service needs to vastly improve just needs time for them to sort things out.

Geoff...aka bb

Been on here for almost 4 years and today was the first time I've met any of you folk face to face - what a great bunch! Was a great ride out too. A lot of fantastic and varied machinery. Thanks everyone and well done Mike arranging everything.

Got a little damp coming out Liverpool side of the tunnel but nothing too bad.

Can't wait for next month

Good to put some more faces to names!

Thanks again Geoff for your assistance - good job you were there when the bolt dropped out!

Some good photos of the bikes in the car park - you've actually made mine look clean

Chris

I'm given to understand they've only just reopened, I think it was a younger sister and mother helping out the main lady there and yes the service was pretty poor but given how many people they had in there understandable. I'm willing to give them a chance in the name of supporting local businesses and the fact they were very apologetic when they took ages with the orders.

As for mushy peas, think you mean smashed avocado on toast, given there weren't that many options on the breakfast menu it can't have been hard to work out that is what is was?

As I stated its a lovely spot in very pleasant surroundings and on the very popular A49, yes the service was alittle wanting but in saying that the owners are new to the business so I for one am quite happy to go there again as let's face it it can only get better.

Geoff.
