Who would be a weather forecaster !
Morning folks, early I know!
So what we have is 45% chance of rain on the Wirral, it's just started so I will take that as a given. However Chester and Wrexham forecasts State 10 % chance of rain through the morning, odds that we usually take . Conclusion, I am gonna get wet until I get to Chester then should dry out by the time I get to the lockgate.! The bimble to Ellesmere will be led by Pete, he knows some quiet back roads......(.so that's the bike getting filthy then ).....Scones are ordered, see you later, on two or four wheels |

69% chance of rain here, down to 50% so will make the decision on transport about 09:00. If it's bike I'll head through St Helens and then over the bridge
See everyone later |

Firstly the sign above the corner we have claimed at the lockgate now Bears Geoffs name. I am having major computer problems which I won't bore anyone with but I use my work laptop at home and it's not allowing me to access Flikr or ukmoc so pictures to follow. We then did the bike of the year prize giving, now accepted on behalf of Pezz by me! Then we did a memorial ride, Geoffs favourite from the lockgate was Ellesmere. Pete did a great job of leading us around Cheshire, despite dodging a cycling event en-route. As I say pictures to follow at some stage, thanks to Chris,Pete,Adie,Mark and Andy for your company once again, Last edited by Moco1961; 03-06-2019 at 08:42 AM.. |

Thanks Albie, thought it would be fitting to do a memorial ride out, you have noticed from the thread the weather was threatening rain, grey sky all around as we approached Beeston, blue sky above......... Mr blue sky?....

I took a tune home from Geoff's send off. It wasn't by the Travelling Wilburys nor anything Jeff Lynn Wrote.
If I said it was the Stones very tongue in cheek "Girl with the faraway eyes" I would have to explain it came from the partial line "...I shot twen'y red lights in his honour." Then you would know what I refer to. The motorcade to the Crematorium was marshalled with wonderful precision by, presumably, people from Ducati Manchester? Notably the fellow on the Panigale V4, which crackled past us each time, to escort us through the next intersection. Hats off to those guys.

sorry couldn't make yesterday guys - slept in till 10 and felt worse for wear after the wonderful Saturday evening CL cup winning by the mighty reds!
next time should be fine - I'll have a whole week to recover from Glastonbury... the sign looks ace and its a fitting tribute |

Sorry for being a bit quiet guys! I’m just at the end of my 10/11 weeks of working away! I was planning on taking the bike out for a spin but when I opened the garage she had a flat tyre! I’m having no luck with her...... So hopefully she’ll have new tyres and a belt change very soon and be back out! I hope you’re all well.
