Yea, I know what you're saying. I may try a 190 next time. Maxxis are a bit of a blast from the past, that is to say they might be good but I don't think many people use them. The tread pattern looks similar to the Rosso Corsas II and if they're sticky they should be good.
The Rosso Corsa II are fantastic in the dry but not so great in the wet, but any tyre with so little cut tread is gonna be a bit vague when water is thrown over it. Look forward to your review.

My thinking is if they are good enough for a few laps of the TT then they should be fine for a cautious rider like me.

Today was quite a good day. I didn't fit the tyres but I did do some of this.
I decided on the 94mm Ducati Performance pistons over the standard ones: Head on: Both heads on an hoses mocked up: It just needs the belts fitting and the clutch plates: Frame in place: Yorkie

Loving it so far Yorkie...Looking better all the time.
I like it so much I've written a poem about it. Hoses are Red. Covers are Gold. I'll still ride Ducatis when I'm really old...

Niether am I. But I'm not much of a poet either and couldn't think of anything else to rhyme with Gold...
