Ron Parkinson - Colchester
Anyone had any experience of these guys?
They are based in Marks Tey near Colchester. I need to get 'the rear cylinder oil leak' fixed under warranty and they are the supplying dealer of my S4. Regards |

my S4R is in there at the moment for warranty work....... i had to chase them four times over three months to make them even remember to get the parts in from ducati!!
Nice people, always do me a good deal on bikes and smart ducati set up. no prob with quality of work once they get started. however, pretty disorganised but might just be my recent experience cos they've always been pretty good before! overall ok - but push them. |

They told spidermonkey they were selling him an 02 model as requested, but gave him an 01 to clear their stock. He took it back the day he got it and threw the keys at them when he found out.
They told me a vented clutch cover would be really good on my 600 - erm messy! I heard recently that a local woman phoned them for a service, being busy they thought about it and she heard the guy in the background say.. "it's ok, she'll never know it's not been done" needless to say she put the phone down on them. In my experience, I try to avoid them.

Fraser, i already do use him and have done for the last couple of years. My warranty ran out from chris clarke about the same time he left so I moved out of there when he did. Like you i send everyone his way, have also given him a load of UKMOC cards and desmo badges to give out to monster riders who don't know about this place.
Top bloke, top prices, top quality

Can he do this? Has anyone heard of Ducati John as well? Anyone know where I can get some secondhand parts? :P Not winning at the moment, lol |

The lucky bit is, the flywheel is perfect (even though it sheered off the splines on the shaft ) and so is everything else, not a mark. So all in all, it was quite lucky ish. lol
Cheers for the help. |
