Despite predictions of only 5 degrees, it managed to get to the heady heights of 8 for the ride in and right up to 11 for the ride home.. Sultry!

Nice atmosphere in The Broken Egg, and we managed to fill a table for 6.
Dacs as always, kept to the brief by arriving on one of his Ducati Monsters. (Remember those? They were quite good, there should be a club for them..)
Also great to catch up with Roger and DaveR.
We were lucky to also meet Steve from Oulton Broad on his nice Yellow 821, so actually 2 Monsters in the gang today!

It was also a pleasure to catch up with my mate Syd from yonks ago. Syd and I went to investigate The Good the Bad and the Hungry at Wingfield after our breakfast meet. It passed with flying colours and I think it will be the venue for the November meet on the 17th.

Steve is now added to my email group for local members who wish to get notice of Norfolk area meets and events. Just drop me a pm with your email address if you'd like to be included. Anyone welcome.

That's why you were late then, waiting for it to warm up a bit! Was pretty cold when I left home at 0835 and certainly didn't feel like 8° when Roger and I were offered a table outside. Fortunately by the time the tardy arrived we had managed to upgrade to inside. Note re next time, will need to book a table. It was great to see a new face, hopefully we didn't put Steve off too much. Better ride home things had warmed up a bit by then. Heated grips certainly helped a lot, not sure I'd have managed that journey without them.
