S2R 800 decat options?

So, after successfully sorting out the forks and brakes with help from you all, the next job is to remove the bagpipes/udder from under the bike as it upsets my eyeballs.

Have seen decat pipes from Spark and Marving.
Are they ones to go for or are there other options? Anything standing out as the best quality?

It doesn't seem like these come up used at all, so I guess I'm looking at buying new?

I'm on my second mid pipes kit from Spark. The first was ok for around 150,000km. Quality is good. Maybe Marving is as good - I don't know.

150,000 km!
That is quite a road test

Hmmm... not Spark?

My Spark has a hook for a spring on the horizontal cylinder and it has slits (correct word?) on the vertical (for good tensioning).

It also has a large hole for the O2sensor (which you may or may not need).

DesmoWorld have (had) them.

That looks very similar to my bypass pipes, a fairly good price considering they are now getting difficult to find.

I got a spark decat pipe on my S2R many years ago after asking around on here. Very pleased with it, fits well , doesn’t get in the way at oil changes and better stainless than some other options at the time.

If you can still find one I’d get it whilst the getting is good…
