I've just found a few DUO46 listed for S4 and most seem to have remote pre-load adjustment, but not sure if this is a standard feature?
Also has a piggyback reservoir.

I agree that it should fit the models you list Rob, but it should also fit the post 2001 M900ie with rod suspension.
This ain't gonna fit a hoop model though. They are a different length and have a remote reservoir.

I found a rear preload adjuster brilliant as a regular pillion provider I could just put a couple of turns of the adjuster on and instantly fix the wallowy feeling and vague steering you get with an extra body on board, without carrying a c-spanner and screwdriver around.

Yep, I agree.
It may not seem to be the most performance related feature but the practical benefits of a remote preload adjuster are huge if you carry a pillion and also if you carry much luggage.
I've found it invaluable on trips to rallies, weekenders and the Isle of Man when carrying full camping gear.
