Fuel Fiter

Does anybody have part number for eqivelent fuel filter from Mhale or other?

The Mahle KL145 is pretty much it I think. Not sure why you would want an eqivelent? Or even an equivalent.

I usually just shop around for the Mahle KL145. It's also used on a lot of BMWs so is very ubiquitous.
Opie oils always seem to have them the cheapest.

Got the KL145 use the for Aprilia Shiver but does not have the mounting lug.So would be flapping about.

Go on Ebay dont buy from Ducati I usually by 3 genuine mahle filters at a time ,, for the price of 1 from Ducati

are they different from KL145 as it dosnt have securing tab.

No 145 has no securing tab as the filter clamp is mounted inside the tank already

Just a thought, could you fit a 'P' clip of some description around the Mahle filter?

Better safe than sorry around fuel.
Just buy a Ducati one. I've got KL145 on the shelf for the Shiver

Inside the tank should have a welded on sprung U shaped clip for the 145 filter

S2R 800 has a plastic tank Jerry, with everything mounted on a hatch in the bottom of the tank.

Just found the original filter is made by Fram, but must be exclusive to Ducati as cannot find any in a search.
