they are, almost as much fun as a 1098R on the road and the fuelling at low RPM is far superior. Always have to be ready for clutch snatch from cold especially if not used for a bit.

Mine's been treated to a Rexxer remap.
Improved the fueling right through the rev range. The torque / power is more linear. There's still a step in the power delivery in the upper end of the rev range, just not as big a kick.
The fuel economy has been improved.

Agree about the clutch. The snatch when cold is frustrating. I've bled the clutch slave and line but makes very little difference.

Bought mine new in 2016 from Moto Rapido, only went in for a gear change rubber for my Multistrada

It now has Termi cans, the official Upmap and a StarAce induction kit (new air box intake, sprint filter and new velocity stacks on the throttle bodies), fuelling and throttle response is nigh on perfect, and the punch at about 6k revs is epic, it’ll pick the front up in 3rd at 70 no problem! Never had an issue with the clutch though, it’s got an Oberon slave but that just makes it a tough lighter, never been snatchy

Well, I took her out today, did a dryish lap that included A38, 358, 303 😈, 372, M5 J24 to 23 so opened up until I saw the rozzers ahead in a dog wagon who were sniffing at my 30 mph off the motorway, and then home. Trying to work out headlights and modes, guess it's a read the manual...
