Monster 620 rear brake switch
Hi all.
Need a little help/guidance. My rear brake light has been playing up and I've traced it to the switch where the pin is sticking. I've tried to clean/free it up to no avail. So, I need a replacement part. Scan of eBay brings up what looks like an identical switch but it doesn't list my bike in the description and I can't find one that does. My question I suppose is is the part a generic part that will fit mine despite it not explicitly saying so? I'll link to the part below. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-D...IAAOSw3ydVi~zz For reference my bike is a 2003 620sie. Thanks all, Dan Last edited by WhisperingWasp; 10-04-2021 at 07:02 PM.. |

You linked to Moto Rapido's eBay ad, so why not just ring Moto Rapido and order the correct part?

Didn't even note the seller tbh. But good shout, I'll call them Monday.

The switch is the same; the connector is the same; but I think you'll find that your switch has a longer wire so the 1100 version probably won't reach your connector block. To check, I suggest you measure the length of yours and ask Moto Rapido to do the same on theirs.
If it won't fit, the one you want is 53940031B, (now 53940034B), and Mdina Italia have them in stock for about £24. https://www.mdinaitalia.co.uk/53940031B.html |

I just realised, I've got that switch (53940033C) my parts bin since I fitted my rearsets so I've just measured it. From the tip of the switch to the end of the connector it's 387mm.
Hope that helps. |
