Guys just a quick update to stop any of us running belts too long.
If you search the link using model function. It comes back with a service sheet. But If you search by VIN number it says (for my evo) this model is not involved in this campaign. I think that’s Italian to English translation for ‘no you’re not getting 60 months belts’ Happy to be proved wrong tho. |

Belts and servicing
Somewhere on here is an interesting discussion which shows the timeline of the engine design from it's 1st siting in a 80s Elefant...(I think) where service intervals were a ridiculous 4k Kms ,from memory. Surely the advances in materials in belt construction and modern oils are the important part of the discussion ? The engines still spin round at similar revs....
