Guys just a quick update to stop any of us running belts too long.

If you search the link using model function. It comes back with a service sheet.

But

If you search by VIN number it says (for my evo) this model is not involved in this campaign. I think that’s Italian to English translation for ‘no you’re not getting 60 months belts’

Happy to be proved wrong tho.

Belts and servicing

Somewhere on here is an interesting discussion which shows the timeline of the engine design from it's 1st siting in a 80s Elefant...(I think) where service intervals were a ridiculous 4k Kms ,from memory. Surely the advances in materials in belt construction and modern oils are the important part of the discussion ? The engines still spin round at similar revs....
