New Owner

Hi Im gonna be soon the new owner of a s4.
It will come with a lot of spare parts and with a spare singlearm from a 916. Im thinking how hard will it be to install it...
We will see when I will strip it down. I already own a 999 2003, a Panigale V4'20, a 848 evo and a CB100r '08, so Im not new to Ducati.

Anyway Im glad that I found your forum, a lot of information here and nice ppl. (allready read half the how to section )

The answer about the swingarm is quite complicated (unless it's a febur arm designed for a Monster)

Slob Im aware of the thread, I already read it before my post. I dont want to spent money on a product. Besides except of the bike I got the following items plus some more.


As you can see there is a 916 rear swingarm

No I meant sell that swingarm look out for a s2r/s4r swingarm to fit. I don't think you even need to do the frame footrest mount mods I did. Anyhow its a great bike you have, Kind of wish I still had one. I actually bought mine as a xmas pressie to myself 16 years ago next week. Nice lot of spares of value too.
Personally I like that cafe racer brutal dark look. Leave it be and just keep it clean and smart.

Welcome along and agree, the bike looks good with some useful spares and accessories.

I’ve enjoyed my all my visits to the Greek Islands in the past (remember international travel?) and before we had our daughter wherever we went in the World I would always hire two wheeled (or three in Sri Lanka- got a Tuk Tuk to ourselves for a day there) when possible.

We had a very chilled out time riding around Rhodes on an Aprillia Atlantic
