MyDucati website and Desmo Owners Club Affiliation

Hi folks

I hope you're keeping well during these weird times, please take a moment to read through this.

I'm dealing with the 2020 DOC membership kits (and horrendously late 2019 ones), I'll be emailing everyone shortly.

I need to let you know Ducati are changing the way they they manage Desmo Owners Club (DOC) affiliation,
If you're not registered for MyDucati, from 2021 you won't be a DOC affiliated member, this means you won't get annual freebies, discount WDW or EICMA tickets etc. or be eligible for any other DOC offers.
Please ensure you're registered on MyDucati and affiliated to UKMOC in your MyDucati profile if you want to keep these benefits.

To stay in line with GDPR club organisers (eg. me) are no longer able to make changes to your details and any members not affiliated with UKMOC through MyDucati will have their details deleted from Ducati's Club database on 30th June 2020.

This does not affect your ukmonster.co.uk account/login, just DOC affiliation and any related benefits.

I wrote a guide to registering through MyDucati here http://www.thelasturl.net/DOC/myducati.html

Any questions ask away, either here or you can PM me or email rob <at> ukmonster <dot> co <dot> uk

cheers
Rob

I think the web site has been updated slightly since those screen shots don't match what I can see. I don't see My Garage or My Club options but Garage, Configurations and Desmo Owners Club and I see UKMOC at the bottom of the page with your details, addr email etc. It doesn't indicate clearly that I am in the club membership. Does that mean I am already set up?

The only change I made was I just changed my Nickname to the one on here.

I’ll have a look at updating the instruction tomorrow, I’m just trying to work out who to email with what message, depending on whether they registered or not or let their membership lapse accidentally etc etc.
It usually starts to get busy just before WDW, when people realise they don’t have a discount code because the didn’t tick allow email from club/ducati

It'd show as the full 'UK Monster Owners Club'
In your case Mick: you can't see it because you're already affiliated (and properly registered)

I remember loading my bikes details to My Ducati some time ago. I've just checked and the Desmo Owners Club has been been updated with UKMOC.

It's created a duplicate SteveG, I don't know why.
Mostly this is working fine, it recognises people form the database (usually that means there's no option to join UKMOC, as you'd already be a member) In few cases it hasn't matched people up, I'll email Ducati next week and ask them if the can merge the details for those affected.

Strange, as you say: it's not under 'Superbike', I'll point that out to them and let you know Davy (there's always 'Other' if I don't have any luck)

Hey Davy, they said use 'other' if the bike's not listed, I guess it must be before whatever they decided to set their cut-off point to, even though it seems strange for such an iconic series of superbikes.
