The other side of the Superglide,, see thru push rods, Lectron carb, morris rare earth magneto ,
just some of the trick stuff ,,, BUT although the bike runs really well ,engine is sweet , handles great and stops well it is a bitch to start ,, NO ONE Can kick it over at all and to fit and electric start is almost impossible due to the 3'' belt primary ,and would be eye waterinly expensive £2500 or use a smaller primary for a standard HD electric foot , it is easy to bump in 10m on the shallow hill by my house but when parked up must be on a slight hill,,,hmmm???? reason it cant be kick started is the 9.5-1 compression wiseco pistons ,,Pete made a mistake if it had 8-1s it would kick start easy,,,,, we may fit some 8-1s as we have a spare set of barrels ha ha

Rather than reduce the compression, couldn't you modify the heads to accept a pair of manual decompression valves? https://www.denniskirk.com/jims/manu...prd/H28045.sku |

Verdict on the Mivvs ,,, after a 50 mile run today they are brilliant ,, no adjustments made ,, bike seems smoother , and more torque ,hits 9k rpm no glitches , sound is a deep bass rumble but not loud as db killers are in but i like it ,, very happy with them..

pete has considered them as he used some on a magnum 1000 the built a few years ago but he says it was still a problem to start he also had some on a nitrous injected Panther 650 so for some reason he is not convinced ,, i think if we can find some decent quality 7.5-1 pistons that is the solution ....but most of the pistons are cast crap quality ones from China or taiwan

I've got mivv's fitted to my s2r & got a set of baffles from pipeworx to give it a bit more in the noise department, it did sound good but swapped them over at mot time & realised i preferred the standard ones with a few holes drilled as the pipeworx could get a bit tiresome on a run ....

I'm not a big fan of Harleys generally but I quite like the look of yours. What does it sound like - those pipes look very cool.
