S4R shorty Termi
Thinking of buying a shorty Termi slip on to replace my hi level under the seat termis.
I’ve read it connects to the udders which I’m assuming refers to the bit where it connects by the footrest? If I do decide to go ahead with it then I will have some hi level termis for sale. |

‘udder’ refers to the stock catalytic converter

not sure how the shorty termi would (or wouldn’t) fit on a de-cat pipe,
it’s designed to fit up against the cat |

I think I've seen it done before, I'll have a look later and see if I can find it

Sorry I can't seem to find it but it's definitely been done!
However if the shorty is made to fit the standard cat then it should fit as most decat pipes are made to fit standard end cans as well, so it should all match up. Disclaimer - I've not seen the shorty close up so I don't know what the actual fittings are like |

The shorty is an extremely small steel exhaust can (about a third of the sleeve length). That is, IMO, not a good idea for performance or sound. It bolts straight on to an udder OR udderless /decat midpipes. Sleeve slides on last. Looks cool.

If you have the full Termi system with the cans underseat on both sides which it sounds like you have then I'd stick with that as its a much better option performance wise.

I just think when I do the tail tidy it will look odd with the pipes sticking out.
I don’t fancy cutting them down as it is already loud and I think it will be louder if I shorten them? |

I think the shorty one will be louder.
