Newbie in Derby

Hi, I bought a 1996 M900 a few weeks ago, needed a lot of cosmetic work but looks acceptable now I think, I’ve already got a 900ss & Scrambler so not new to Ducati’s, the M900 has been a pleasant surprise though, really like the way it rides, Currently done new cans discs painted engine & wheels etc, still loads to do, anyway hello !
PS struggling to upload a photo, I’m getting a message saying “uploading please wait “ , life’s too short, I’m out on a ride, I’ll try again later.

Welcome aboard Mark. I know what you mean about the M900: I’m quite partial to mine too.

That's no excuse, Mark - we need pictures!

For posting pictures, you need to use a photo hosting site.
I use www.postimages.org/signup.

Once you've uploaded your picture, you should be presented with these options...

Click on the blue 'copy' icon next to the 'hotlink for forums' address and paste it into your post.

If you preview the post before submitting it, the picture will appear in the preview if you've done it correctly.

Thanks for the replies, and the instructions Luddite, here it is

PS note to admin, is there any chance the allowable size for images could be increased to enable loading of photos without the need for hosting sites?, this is what happened on the Honda SOHC forum and it saves time, cheers Mark.

That was definitely worth the effort! You've got yourself a nice example there, Mark. I like your silencers - did you shorten them?

Don't worry - Rob (slob) is already working on this for "forum 2.0" http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ad.php?t=57493

No they are “as bought” SP engineering £359 on eBay, they are quite good quality for the price, left side dropped on, right was a PITA, not sure if it was variance in the link pipes supplied or in the Ducati headers but fitting the RH one led to a lot of swearing

Here’s the eBay item number
291680121648

Ah, the joys of Ducati ownership! Keep a swear box in the garage and that'll pay for your next set of tyres within 12 months.

Hi Mark.
You really need to keep it on the paddock stand or straighten up the Agip sticker on e clutch cover!

Ha, yes I’ve got a replacement sticker

If I got rid of the random stickers Darren you would see the random scratches.

Well, my M900 is one year older than Mark9's - but rather scruffier! However, thanks to the efforts of Neil at Cornerspeed Ducati earlier this year it now rides beautifully smoothly, and it will doubtless manage many more trips around the mountains of Spain & Portugal!
