S4R search

Hello, I have previously owned a 1997 900SS, a 916 & two 996's but have been bike less for around 5 years due to life getting in the way. I now have an itch for a Monster S4 R. In a perfect world (if such a thing exists) it would be in blue with white stripes and Termi exhausts but would consider other combos. I'm based in Suffolk and have cash burning a hole in my pocket. Anyone have one they are not riding or know of one, I would be happy to hear from you.
Safe riding and best regards
Gavin

Have you had a look at what Carl Harrison has in stock (Harleston)?
And also Village Motorcycles at Stowmarket have some very nice bikes in.

...Hello and welcome by the way...

I saw this one the other day (in Plymouth):

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-Mo...e/263830219962

So they are out there.

I always liked the blue and white scheme - very Shelby Cobra! When I bought my S2R new, I was disappointed to find that they weren't carrying the blue over from the S4R so I had to settle for plain old red.

This thread has one. It needs a bit of TLC. Still if the S4R are worth £5K then you would have £3K to use to make it perfect...

https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/thread.../#post-1173131

Painting a tank, tail & nose fairing is £350 or less including decals, wheel painting is £100 for a pair, a refurbed seat £120, Maxton forks £500ish, major service £1100. Plus it might be a fun project for the winter!

Inccidently I don't know the guy or the bike in question but simply thought it might be of interest to you

I've just noticed a 2004 blue S4R in this month's Practical Sportsbikes small ads.

It's the one I flagged up earlier on eBay from Plymouth. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-Mo...e/263830219962

Looks like it didn't sell at the original eBay price of £5,250 and is now being offered for £4,500. Could be worth making a cheeky offer...

Your search for S4R

Hi,
Perhaps you are already sorted - but if not - I have one. Blue/white stripes/7200 miles.

I’d PM Chris Yeatman, he never rides his.
