I think the 1100 evo throttle cable goes straight on and it's a bit longer so that doesn't happen.

Damn again, think I paid a £17 for a regular cable off eBay to send to specialist cable maker as template for one, 1 inch longer. New one cost £40+.
Looks like I could have saved a few bob.
Anyway, I now have the sample I bought, plus the original off my bike.
So, 2 regular throttle cables for 696 (As new) free to good homes if anybody can use ‘em.
