Smile Exhaust (Termignoni?) for 1100 Evo

I'm looking for termi exhausts for my 1100 evo. Anyone looking to get rid of a pair?

I'm open to other options as well. A small can would be nice if anyone is selling.

Good luck with that. Termis I mean!

You could PM MerlinPV12. He had a carbon Termi set on his. As he's just fitted a saucy custom titanium system, http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ad.php?t=55254, perhaps he's looking to sell his old Termis?

I have a GPR Powercone for an 1100evo that I'd be happy to part with for £150 plus postage.

Monster 1100 evo GPR Stainless Powercone

It sounds great and despite being not for road use will get through an MOT if you fit the dB reducer.

I wouldn't worry too much, if you run the db killer in it and its not loud providing any markings are covered the MOT tester cannot touch anything and even if not, if you've an MOT tester who's a Ducati fan then no worriesl

Mine is and he advised me wisely on what I needed to do the first time. the worst thing is you might get an advisory from a non Ducati MOT tester for a loud exhaust. or if any text is showing and he sees it then a fail.

I checked the legislation around this today. From what I gather, it doesn't need any markings to pass the MOT (as long as there isn't a marking which clear says not for road use). But police can still prosecute you if you're stopped and it doesn't have the required markings... caught in two minds now!

Yea the 'Not for road use' stamp is usually on the exhaust band on Termis which can be covered if you prefer. I've been stopped a few times for going a bit too fast, but never been prosecuted, or even a comment regarding my open exhausts, in fact I don't think they never checked, They're loud full on Termis but not so loud as to be annoying so I don't think that was the issue besides me riding at 50 in a 40mph zone.

I've ridden tens of thousands of miles on my M1100 with unbaffled Termis and M1100evo with the GPR without the dB reducer and never encountered a member of the constabulary who was remotely interested in the loud exhaust. The nice thing about the GPR dB reducer is that it is just a metal ring and a clip to hold it in place. Much less bulky than the baffles for Termis. It's small enough to carry with you on the bike if you wanted to.

The MOT tester who tested my evo with the GPR exhaust with the dB reducer in reckoned that it was no louder or possibly quieter than the stock exhaust on some of the recent Ducatis. The Panigales with standard exhaust are loud at a standstill.
