M750 2001 Rear shock
Hi
Sorry if this is elsewhere just had a scan and couldn't find anyting recent I just bought my 1st Monster a 2001 M750 it is a bit scruffy here and there but I'm hoping to clean it up as I go. It has been MOTd a few weeks ago before I bought it with an advisory of light misting on rear shock. Well it looks as though the light misting has progressed a little onto fountain. I need a replacement rear shock but am on a pretty tight budget. Are there any after-market versions which will fit that anyone would recommend or even better know where to get a decent used one? Thanks |

I've just taken the standard shock off my 2000 750 to replace it with a Nitron unit. I'd planned to get it rebuilt because I thought it was on the way out, but after fitting my new one I'm pretty sure it was just tired rather than gone.
So it's still a 17 year old shock but no misting and in reasonable condition. Not entirely sure what it's worth but let me know if you're interested. Looks like they're on ebay for between £60 and £100, say £50 plus delivery? Unless someone says that's too much? Alternatively the Nitron unit I bought was just over £400, preload and damping adjustment like the origianl. Last edited by RossObey01; 10-06-2017 at 02:15 PM.. |

I'm still on a Boge, but take a look at:
