He was asking £2600 for her but I tempted him with my xjr1300sp and I got a swap

I think you got a steal. You wouldn't pay much less for a good condition totally standard one IMO.

Well IMO the best way to sell would be to remove the RR bits and replace with standard. You would prob/poss/depends then get between 2200 to 2400 for the bike and be left with a load of valuable and hugely saleable bits. I've no idea how much each is worth as it doesn't float my personal boat (apart from the tank but I'd either strip and polish or repaint) but I'm sure others could provide a rough est.
