It was in front of my sister and nephew. I stupidly started it in gear. I had to then ride it 100 miles back from milton keynes. It was OK once on m way.

Yes, pretty much the same for me - only 40 miles , mostly motorway (thankfully)
But I have managed to source one on ebay for £ 12, which was a blessing and am fitting today, so hopefully back on the road tomorrow
