Char has provisionally arranged some free training for UKMOC members at Boscombe that may save lives, and at a minimum make group rides safer.

There is an opportunity to attend a bike safety course on a Saturday early in the new year (date to be confirmed) run by the Boscombe Firefighters. The itinerary is yet to be set but could include first aid, helmet removal, fire extinguishers and some elements applicable to marshal training.

It will be half day course on a Saturday early in the new year.

So if you’d like to make rides safer or are considering getting into marshalling this would be a great way to start.
