Insurance recommendations?

How many bikes and what are they on the multi policy. £400+ may be a decent price depending on the answer. Sounds similar to mine. Some of the £100 policies are probably for bikes that live in the countryside and riders that have full no claims. Living in London will push up your policy massively, as will no garage and no UK licence.

Two bikes, with a garage in Herts. They've accepted that my old French license can be converted by DVLA and have quoted me for a full UK license... not sure if the timeframe of having it "UK"ed is affecting it... but if its close to being a common price then I think its as good as I can get for now

When I got my bike, I was living in Uxbridge, west London.

Had my license for 6 months, 10 years on a car license, and I paid £1200 a year.

I moved to East London and that went up to £1500 then some twat knocked me off and I lost my no claims discount whilst a court case went through and it went up to £1700.

I now live in the sticks, with a garage, and it's £150 with 3 years no claims.

I am pretty sure all these companies just pluck numbers from the air.

Yeah I think that's a reasonable price for fully comp in London.

Not so sure thats exactly where they plucked them from but I get the picture. Thanks guys, at least its a realistic number, converting to dollars always makes the shock that much worse.
