Welcome George
One question
Why do you want a slow one
Do you not know the yellow ones are faster :-)

You can convert the slow red ones into faster yellow ones George so by all means go for a red one.

Might see you round as I'm only over in the forest and work over in Cheltenham ,,,, but a red one will have real trouble keeping up with mine

Hello and welcome. Given there is so little paintwork on a monster you may consider any colour and get the tank resprayed? Just a thought in case the perfect bike came up in another colour.

Steve has a good point. Wrapping is also an option.

Welcome George, where in Gloucestershire are you? Great choice of bike, and red ones are faster, don't let anybody tell you different!

Welcome, and just to confirm, red ones are the fastest (especially when fitted with performance enhancing white wheels)

Hello and welcome along.

'Tis a good point about changing colours....My bike was orange when I bought it and, although it looked quite nice, the plan was always to change the colour sooner or later.
But it was the right model in perfect condition.
Subsequently the seat cowl, bellypan and front mudguard have all been swapped for carbon fibre or black items so the only coloured paint left is on the tank......which is now metallic blue.

Good work George, welcome. Go to Region Announcements on the homepage, as Liz has said I'm sure you'd be most welcome to join the Hants / Wilts lot if it's not too far for you.... they're a friendly bunch
