Saturday 11th July 2015

Once again the National BikeSafe Show & Track Experience returns to Castle Combe for another year.

Building on the success of 2014 where over 400 riders receive a 1hr assessed road ride with a Police motorcyclist followed by a 15 minute track experience riding their own machine around the Castle Combe Circuit, we are back again.

Over 8000 people enjoyed the free day out with plenty to see and do with motorcycle stunt rider displays, dealers and trade stands, family attractions including bouncy castles, mini quad bikes and the chance to meet the officers of the Police Firearms, Support Group and Under Water Search units, with live dog displays in the arena.

Entry and parking is FREE, only those taking part in the observed ride & track experience have anything to pay – £30, by booking here online.

Observed rides start at 08:00hrs with the last one at 14:00hrs for those wanting to take part in the track experience, there are also two sessions at 15:00hrs & 16:00hrs for those not wanting the track experience.

National BikeSafe Show & Track Experience is a one day event supported by National BikeSafe held at the Castle Combe Race Circuit near Chippenham in Wiltshire, easily accessed from the M4 Motorway.

The event has two elements to the day;

1/ BikeSafe – The 1hr assessed on road ride with an advanced Police motorcyclist on a two to one basis.

On return to the circuit your Police rider will hand you over to the Castle Combe instructors for a safety briefing. Once completed you will get a fifteen minute track experience in a small group of no more than twelve.

The whole experience in total will take between two and a quarter hours and three hours.

There are also a limited number of assessed road rides without the track experience.

2/ The Show – In the paddock we have a good selection of motorcycle displays, including the opportunity for test rides of some models (details will follow), trade stands & motorcycle clubs.

Motorcycle stunt rider show. Police displays.

You will also be able to see the riders going round the circuit.

To take part in the assessed ride and track experience riders are required to hold a full motorcycle licence (restricted is acceptable) and have a machine that is capable of maintaining the national speed limit. You must wear appropriate clothing, however this does not have to be leathers and you do not have to be able to zip trousers and jacket together.

Castle Combe Circuit have a strict 105 db noise restriction which will be in place on the day. It is the sole responsibility of you, the rider to ensure your machine complies with this requirement.

Gates open to the public 10:00 – 17:00
