M900 for sale
Forgive me for I am (hopefully) about to sin and put up for sale my lovely M900. My brother acquired the bike in 2006 and totally re-furbed at 24,453m, comprising:
New clutch and new oil seals and gaskets all round. EVERYTHING powder coated. New timing belt cases. Clutch case polished and slash cut to reveal clutch (cut-away section currently in place, allows open or enclosed) All fasteners in stainless. Tail chop, mini indics+ small plate (full size plate inc for MOTs). New h-light fairing High power h-light bulb +relays; no dazzle on dip DP gel seat. Black low-rise handlebars. I bought the bike off my brother in 2008 and fitted: Wavy discs (25,222 miles) Stage 2 Dyno kit, S/S cans by Carbon Can Company – I have baffles. K&N filter + air box carefully opened up All work by Moore Speed Racing, Poole. DP LED Tacho and carbon mount/surround. Since then: Lined fuel tank with ‘Tank Krem’ (wasn't leaking; had mild rust on central seam) Resprayed tank, decals under lacquer top coats. Carbs stripped + serviced Reconditioned starter motor and lead New spark plugs Billet bar ends +mirror Braided Goodridge brake + clutch lines At 27,050 miles: Fork seals, dust caps, fork oil. Track rod ends to suspension hoop – originals squeaked Brake pads front + rear Michelin Pilot Road 3’s Fuel filter + fuel lines ‘Factory Racing’ clutch slave. Serviced at 27,267 miles: Full synth 10W40 + Duc filter Stuff I would do, if not keeping: Renew belts, 2yrs due, not through mileage. Have rear shock re-gassed Re-powder coat wheels; peeling in places around rims. I'll probably do belts and re-gas shock anyway before sale. Mileage at 27,454, will rise a little with use. Garaged in winter and covered in summer; mostly dry miles with me. MOT up to Sept 14th 2015 – Advisory: ‘front wheel damaged’ due to small nick in rim; tester said it's fine (never noted in previous MOT’s with me!) Only selling to buy a bike for 2-up touring. I’ve loved riding her, a real head turner, reluctant sale (can't afford 2 toys). So, I'm open to offers; not on ebay or AT yet; wanted to see if anyone who ‘gets’ monsters is interested first. Bike in BH14 Dorset for viewings; test rides with usual rules. Many thanks ‘Medium Dave’ (Terry Pratchet fans’ll understand) http://s300.photobucket.com/user/Evo...5zldw.jpg.html http://s300.photobucket.com/user/EvosPics67/media/IMG_1942_zps2ffmpzic.jpg.html[/IMG] http://s300.photobucket.com/user/Evo...hnfu1.jpg.html http://s300.photobucket.com/user/Evo...bpcd5.jpg.html http://s300.photobucket.com/user/Evo...8eimw.jpg.html http://s300.photobucket.com/user/Evo...gkqgv.jpg.html http://s300.photobucket.com/user/Evo...omk8c.jpg.html http://s300.photobucket.com/user/Evo...oeyjk.jpg.html |

Thanks for the compliments.
I hear you on the 'sale of one bike to fund another', I'd love to keep her AND get a Beemer r1150gs for some 2-up touring fun. But until my lottery numbers come up I have to let her go to raise dish for the next one. Cheers Dave |
