Bike Safe course only £10 in Essex
Whilst riding to the Teddy bears Picnic we got pulled over by the law. They wanted to give us tea and breakfast, and sell us a bikesafe course for only £10, I think after that there was some further free or reduced price training. Anyway I checked the site and there are very few places left and only for Sept 27th. I'm going to risk getting nicked for my exhaust and pop along. Here's a link if anyone wants to join me https://booking.bikesafe.co.uk/#BookNow/186

That's a bargain.
If you're thinking of it, book it. They also throw in lunch if I remember correctly. Exactly the same happened to me a number of years ago and they are all really nice and helpful.

Yep Lunch is thrown in.
Incidentally Essex police regularly do these Ride Safe 'Pit Stops' that we ran into. Free tea/coffee and bacon/sausage rolls etc. So if you are planning a ride out in or near Essex on any of the days they are worth dropping by. Dates and locations here |

Norfolk doesn't seem to do the Bike Safe courses, but Norfolk County Council do something simillar with the Norfolk Constabulary.

Yep I think it's only Essex doing the £10 deal, and I think he said once you do that you are eligible for some further free training worth £xxx, can't remember exactly.
