Hello from Northumberland
Another returning biker here. Been riding since I was 20 (I'm 50 now) and sold my last bike (Moto Guzzi Le Mans II) about 7 years ago. Now back with a Monster 1100 which I've had for a few weeks and I'm loving although it's much more responsive to every input than the old Guzzi. I used to be quite a high miles all-weather rider (I put 80,000 miles one bike I had) but I think the Monster will mainly be for dry weather fun. That assumes, of course, that we have some dry weather. It has poured down all day today.

Howay Bryn,
Welcome to the forum, and here's hoping you get some good riding weather soon. I lived in Northumberland as a kid for 4 happy years and dragged my husband there on our honeymoon - some great scenery up there. Currently my monster is on 26,000 miles - hope one day to get up to the sort of mileage you said you did on your former bike. |

Welcome,
I flew into Newcastle yesterday, roads all flooded. Made me homesick for the desert... But only for a few seconds.
