Good evening from Norfolk

I've been stalking this forum for a bit, since buying an M750ie Dark a few months ago - bike is from 2002, and had covered 3150 miles in that time. Almost completely standard, including the tail plastic (which is staying in place, to pre-empt any suggestions of a tail chop). Always liked the Monster ideal, and appearance, and on riding it reminds me of the last Ducati I had, a Pantah. What it has in common with all the Ducatis I've owned in the past (350 Mk 3, 24 Horas, Darmah, Pantah) is that I get off at the end of a ride with a grin on my face.
It isn't my everyday bike, but will hopefully be a keeper, and I expect to beat the average annual mileage to date (265 miles!)

Hi - and welcome, I must say I am jealous of your previous bikes love all of them. I am going to pick up a Pantah myself when the right one comes along.

Good morning.
I also bought a 750 with about that mileage. A 2000/01 model.
7 or 8yrs later I love it more each day.
We east midlanders often stray over your way, so maybe we'll meet up.
The Fenman rally in august is one particularly good excuse among many.
Welcome along.

Welcome Dacs.

A fine choice of bike.

We are nearly neigbours. I am 11 minutes away from you (Less on a 750SS.!)
There is another M900 owner nearby also. and several others only a little further afeild, including a Darmah owner.

I went through Aylsham secondry school with "emzedder", another member on here.
You may well have known his father if you have lived there for a while with all those lovely Ducatis.

We have one or two rides out in Norfolk throughout the year so Hoping to see you some time if you're up for that....

PM coming your way.

Hello Dacs, I'm in Cromer so not far away and like you the tea tray is still firmly in place.
Which Darmah did you have, mine is a W reg 900SD and I found the difference between the 40mm carbed motor and the injected like chalk and cheese but as you say they both deliver on the grin factor. Hopefully we will be having a meet up in March to set aside some dates be good to put faces to names, cue Stu and Gary with a post..... atb Steve

Not a Guilietta then - 'wherefore art thou Alfa Romeo' at the Star in Lessingham Sunday lunch time, sounds good to me but then again most pubs have that effect on me.
