Good luck with the price. £750 more buys you 20 more hp 821 brand new.

Just gonna clarify this:

m821 is £800 more expensive, has 12 more HP which you can negate with the exhaust upgrade, has 11 lb/ft less torque

Good luck with your sale.
As Albie says, it's a high price, but if you get it then well done.
There are a good few 1100 and 1100 EVO's coming to the market after being around for a while.
Just sold my EVO from 2011 a couple of weeks ago.

You don't really need to clarify much on here. It is a monster forum after all.

Personally I prefer the older new shapes, having ridden the 821, I didn't like it.

But as Albie says, if I had £8k why would i buy an older bike when I can get the new one for not much more?

Good luck with sale

Welcome to the club too.

@J.P out of interest what did you get for it?

Thanks for the welcome. I've spent a lot of time and money on the bike which I feel is worth the extra. It will depend on taste rather than HP/new bike. I also am not a fan of the new shapes - BUT if I was gonna move on from the EVO the only option would surely be the new 1200S. The 821 would only feel like a downgrade.

I used to own a 696 and the difference between the EVO and that was like night and day - clutch, power delivery, 'feel' of ride was a huge upgrade.

I sold it for a whole lot less. Needed some work but went for less than £6,000.

Im not saying you wont get it. I sold a superb 1100s with far more carbon , and rizoma rearsets and 3 seats and 3 body sets for a price to sell no quibble kicking moaning because I just wanted a fresh start. I agree the 1100 evo are more monster than new watercooled version which I could still purchase but if that was the price I wouldnt pay yours. You may get it on ebay or autotrader but doubtful here. Not quite the rare beast of white s4rs yet in my book. Looks a great bike if I was looking but I reckon I would only pay 7k tops which could still happen yet
My mistake on hp is 112 but still more power and 17 more than 1100s alone which is no slouch.

Mate, that's only 500 quid less than I paid for my Evo ex-demo with 41 miles on the clock.

So no need to be sad, because I don't think you'll be saying goodbye to it anytime soon.
