Hello from Bexley
Hello all
Just before Christmas I picked up an immaculate Monster 1100 from Moto Rapido. Great deal, 2010, 4400 miles, a belt change included and a decent px price on my cb1000r. Honda was a great bike but a little boring compared to the Duc, which so far has left me with a big smile on my face every time I ride it. The usable torque is amazing and the sound of dry clutch on tick over and standard exhaust is great. I would like to change the pipes at some stage but Termis are so expensive and not sure if slip ons will need the ECU changed too, so will search this forum to find out when i get to that stage, Looking forward to some decent weather to really start enjoying the bike. Tony, Welcome to the club.
You're in the right area if you'd like to get involved with the club activities as South East London and North Kent has quite a few members around. Keep a look out for the Kent section for stuff going on, and London too. Monthly meeting on the 2nd Sunday of the month (this Sunday) is held usually down at Mikey's Diner on the A229 and ride or drive down if you fancy meeting some of the other members. Sounds like you got a deal on the bike, how much was it in the end ?

Hi Tony, great you are enjoying your new bike !
Would be great to see you on Sunday, hope you can make it (and weather is ok) We get out quite a bit in the Kent area, if you have anywhere you fancy visiting or a good route we would be pleased to know. Cheers Alan |
