Iain from Preston

Hi, I pick up an S4R in August, I've had one on these on my list of must haves for quite a while and I must say, I'm very pleased with it.

I've been lurking around this forum for a while and have found tons of good stuff on here, hoping I can contribute.

Cheers,
Iain

hello and welcome. Lovely bike, I really like the blue and white.

If you get a de-cat pipe you may possibly have one of the loudest monsters ever!

The pipe was on it when I got it, and it is quite loud, it's stamped for race use only along with the open clutch it makes quite a racket, it has an open air box with a K&N filter and an ECU to match.

It's a great looking pipe. I suspect it's a self built jobbie, it looks attached to the cat so de-catting may not be an option.

It was a genuine Termignoni fittment and I've seen a few on here over the years, although they are relatively rare.

I would think a decat is technically possible in that the pipes would connect. It would definitely need the fuelling adjusted and I serious ser of earplugs for the rider I'm sure it sounds great as it is though

Ok, I'm surprised I haven't seen more as it looks brilliant. It may need a fair bit of fettling to get it to fit without the cat and perhaps not look so great in the end which could explain the rarity.
