Hello there

Hello there!

Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Lee and I'm 27 from Manchester.

After searching for some time for my first 'big bike' I decided to follow my heart instead of head and I am now the owner of a Ducati M800ie. The Jap stuff is nice but an ER6 / SV650 / CBR600F / CB600F etc. just didn't make me wan't to hand over my hard earned, the Ducati just feels special.

Already looking at some mods (louder cans, bar end mirrors, frame sliders and hiding the zip tie wiring!) Any pointers on this will be appreciated.

Anyways lets hope this marriage goes well, only better weather will tell!

Lee

Welcome Lee, fit a turbo or NOS, or both..

Seriously, loads of mod'd bikes on here from basic bolt on stuff to the really high mods, it all depends on budget.

For a great bike speak to Capo, his is really special.

A nice place to say hello

Hi all,

Well after many years of screaming four cyl's I've taken the plunge and purchased my first twin.

After a visit to Manchester Ducati whilst out the the missus shopping for a hoover I found an spotless S4R, what can i say, it's now mine, or at least it would be if the weather would improve long enough for me to collect it.

The suspense is driving me mad....

Anyway, i look forward to being part of the Monster Team

All the best

Stu

Hi Stu, I was there yesterday and saw an S4R with a sold sign on it. Take it that's yours, if so very nice!!! The better half liked it too, secretly I think more than mine

I was due to get mine Fri/Sat but the weather put an end to that. Feeling your pain!

Welcome to both Lee and Stu to the forum and Ducati ownership. I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't both already met "I'm up Norf" Geoff then?

Hello there Lee, and welcome from another new guy!
I can really relate to you "following your heart" to Ducati. The same thing happened to me. When I took my licence course, the school had a ER5 and ER6. Drove them both, OK bikes, but they just did not have that something special that I was looking for.
Ducati did. I first tried ST4, but then the monster got my heart, and here we are...

And so the snow continues to fall........

Is someone up there testing me?

Popee, I suspect it is mine sat there waiting to be collected, I suppose its better there than lying on its side because i dropped it through being impatient.

Thanks for the messages to you all and roll on the sunshine

I got mine last night, roads aren't too bad in Manchester now.

Amok, I had the same progression of bikes!

Hello and welcome all to the forum. Stuart, your bike's already famous, we displayed it at the NEC last December.

Thanks, I understand from the dealer that it was on display, I've been trying to get a clear picture of it in the line up
