Reputable service centre

As you fine folk may know I come from the frozen north and know most of you are 'fizzy drinking southerners'. So does anyone know of a decent indipendant service centre up north, I know of John in Leeds but to me thats still the midlands.

The only dealer I can think of in the NE is M and M in Newcastle but from previous experience I wouldn't let them wash any bike of mine.

Here's hoping...

Yeah, Leeds is closer, I saw a post earlier that mentions DIT in Sunderland, anyone know anything about them?
