The bikes were originally in police livery but that was back in 94 since then its been taken care of by a couple of expats who had saved them from the scrapyard, there were 400"s as well as the 600's and the only evidence of them now being not the nom are some extra lugs welded to the frame for attachment of crash bars, radio boxes etc !
Mine is now has a red tank, carbon hugger etc etc but only 3000kms on the clock also the chassis number shows it to be the 675th built, build date 10/94 |

Scrapyard I can so imagine the 400 in hot pursuit ........ the scene would turn like a balck and white film! I love my little one....
If I could have any monster id have loved the little police one as it was.... I have a model one and its very cute |

I would love to see a pic of an original Saudi rozzers Monster.
Anyway, welcome and I hope you enjoy the bike. According to the distribution list the Saudi Police bought 162 600's that's loads! http://sites.google.com/site/infoage...ribution-table Last edited by Scott1; 15-03-2012 at 12:12 PM.. |

They bought 400"s and 600"s and they all ended up languishing in the scrapyard, very sad sight ! very little use at all in fact some had kilometer readings of less than 100, they originally had single seats and extra wiring for radios etc, top boxes and panniers, but time and the weather had destroyed the seats etc.
The only thing left on mine that shows its different is the extra wiring at the tail piece for radio power, blue light on a stick and factory lugs on the frame for crash bars. I am just starting a full strip down for rebuild as a fun bike to ride here on the weekends, roads are to crazy any other time! Anybody know where i can get the plastic piece that holds the choke cable coming through the headstock Pt No 82911281A as getting parts here is a complete lottery ! we have ducati dealer in town but the parts department leaves a lot to be desired ! any help great fully appreciated |
