Been and gone and dunnit.....

Thought I'd better say hello, specially cos the clocks go back so I get to stay up late!!

After 30 years of sports bikes, I finally decided to go all retro and buy an 1100 Evo. My first ever Duke and I'm loving it.

Just coming up to its first service, so its smoothing out nicely now. Thought i'd screw the nut and run her in as recommended (although I have been a tad naughty now and then).

I've never really been a fair weather rider over the years TBH, but the thought of taking her out in the pissing rain does make me wince, so it'll just be the dry days over winter me thinks.

No doubt I will come on here with my tail between my legs asking daft questions from time to time, so thought it best to doff my cap to you all.......

Will fill in the UKMOC forms and post a pic of me and my steed laters.

Regards to all and look forward to adding my two penneth if i'm able

Cheers

Hello and welcome, its a great bike you will not be sorry

if you going to ride it through winter, get some acf50 asap. this should stop the worst of the winter salt corrosion

Thanks for the welcome. I've been using acf50 for a few years now and love the stuff. At least having the M1100 will save me taking acres of plastic off to get at the metal.
