Three at the Bulldog Bash.
Yellow M600
Matt black 2-valver, dunno which model. Red 2-valver, possibly with white corse stripe, again dunno which model but camped just a little way from my orange M750. Sorry, I didn't get round to saying hello. I got dragged into it by my Victory owning, skull-tattooed mate. It was quite a good hoot in the end. Plenty of interesting bikes, a bit of drag racing, saw the wall of death (well worth anyone's £3). Although, apart from Quo, the music was all a bit thrashy. I did wonder about seeing if I could borrow a guitar in the acoustic tent, but there was never anyone there when I looked in. Probably just as well...there aren't many country tunes with much attitude. Fireworks were excellent though, and the pattern that the smoke trails made, when lit up by the next big flash, has probably been instrumental in the final decision for my new paint... |

jeez not been to Bulldog for years .... got a shout Saturday night moaning about the trade stalls??
Used to go when it just started up .. crikey !!!! I used to like Kent custom until it was shut down... I am not sure if I would be able to find my way back to the tent now days!! I struggle at Tescos carpark... 'um where did I park???" I think the famous last words from me usually is "Its the blue tent!!" I should nip back one year ..although I would have to keep it quiet .. |

21 years since I went to the bulldog - didn't really enjoy it and never went back
Found the rallies put on back then by the NCC to be far better |

I used to go to the Bulldog and Kent Custom show, although the last time i went was probably in 1991, on a 650 Cossack combo, with my five year old daughter in the sidecar.
I really fancied going this year but it just didn't happen, to busy and it was upon us far quicker than i expected, be nice to go again eventually though. G ; ) |

The last Kent I did was about 91 ..
It was a mud bath ..the bike got stuck in the mud . They then chucked straw down and it just collected in the wheels and did nothing. I had to buy new boots and gear as was so trashed in mud. Then sadly a guy lost his leg and his GF died in an accident and the air ambulance came that was the last one I went to . Yes I used to watch Dumpys !! ALso they used to play at the Cartoon in Croydon with Stiff little fingers. |

That's the one!!! It was horrific . People falling off , dumping bikes and just miserable .
The straw was a crazy thing to do. I had to bin my cloths. Blondie was the headliner Even the ploughs couldn't get out of the mud !! |

and when you got thru the mud the road was completely blocked by people unpicking the mud from around their wheels so they could ride off

Yup and straw everywhere!!!
I think that was the worst weekend ever for me ... Got soaked ,got bored.. Everytime you went out you got soaked. Some people just gave up after falling in the mud and where rolling in it which was amusing. I recall staggering along as the mud and straw built platforms on my boots but watching people trying to get out and the amount of bikes being binned.. It was a weekend il never forget !! Then I had my then husband spitting feathers and stomping about as his bike was covered in mud and he spent a weekend cleaning it. I tend to do little gatherings now.. And I've noticed now I creek if it's damp and cold. I hate camping to be honest .. But every year I camp .. Summer time my little tent is second home.. |

The straw was a mare .. I see what they where trying to do but I have never seen mud like that not even at Glastonbury!!
But the straw made matters worse as it clumped in your wheels.. 2 of our friends binned their bikes on the way out .. Other just wheelspinned which dud not help. We helped people push bikes out as well. Wow can't believe that 1991 seems like yesterday!! I feel old now |
