JP,
Email order went out on Saturday, waiting to get a delivery date today/tomorrow from Ducati UK. I'm told 2 to 3 weeks? I can still hear the sound of the engine picking up in second gear from the test ride. It's an angry little Monster isn't it!!! Still grinning. Hey Char, I'm already in trouble and you are not helping |

696+ ABS Dark Stealth. The only thing I wanted and now can't afford is the termi/akrapovic exhaust system, but instead I think I'll keep this a year and see how the finances are. Maybe I'll have the money to get a big boys bike by then. Can't wait to take delivery.
Incidentally I tried a few more bikes onSsaturday, The KTM 660 Duke. A great bike but too high for me and the single cylinder is a completely different beast. Very vibee through the seat. Aprilia Shiver which I really liked but again a bit too high for me. I took the Monster straight out after the Shiver just to check. Such a great soundtrack and fits like a glove. Had a ride on an older Honda Hornet later that afternoon also. Amazing engine, pulls away in any gear and very easy to ride. Just no wow factor. Glad I tested a few but there is no competition.......Monster's rock. |

Hi Jungle,
Got my bike eventually and and getting to grips with her. Would love to meet up for a ride to the Ace Cafe at some point, never been there. Let me know if you have any plans to go down there, seems like its going to be raining this weekend |
