Infinity Motorcycles
Had some dealings with Infinity in the last few day's.
Must say, I'm mightily impressed! Some problems with delivery, not Infinities fault, very well handled, highly recommended. |

I gave up going into my local store in Clapham because the attitudes, product knowledge and failure to mark prices on display items were so hopeless. Other London Infinity stores I've found patronising staff, prone to giving product information which is plainly wrong. Any shop, of any kind, which fails to clearly mark prices doesn't get my cash.
I did find the shop in Farnborough really excellent, though. I have sort of sensed that some of the staff in these shops are poorly regarded by the owners & managers. I wonder whether they are properly paid and properly trained. Retailers need to treat staff properly. Staff need to treat customers as they would like to be treated themselves. Apologies to those who don't do these things. |

I had a good experience at the Great Portland Street, London W1 branch. I was only in the UK for a few days and this appeared to be the closest (and only bike shop) to where I was staying. Anyway, the lady who served me was knowledgable and friendly and I left with a pair of Sidi B2 Gortex boots with which I am delighted!

+1 for the Farnborough branch - probably because it's only 2 mins walk from Hein Gericke which keeps both stores honest!!

There's a nice young man in the Southampton branch - he always gives me a discount
But Riders of Bristol have to be the best for megga discounts

I have bought two bikes from Infinity Clapham in the last two years, and have spent countless more cash on clothing and accessories etc. The quality of the service does depend on who you get to talk to there.
Niall and Sarah in the bike sales dept are excellent as is the tall guy with the pony tail in the clothing side. They have always sorted out problems with kit without any fuss, and the service department helped me to convince Yamaha to replace some parts on my 09 R1 that they had initially declined to honour under warranty when approached by the dealer. Highly recommended. |
