New member saying hello

Hi all,

Just a quick thread to say hi and introduce myself.

I have just purchased an S4R from "Rally" on this site, would love to tell you how much I've been riding and enjoying the bike but can't as apart from collecting it and riding it home in the peeing rain I've not been able to ride it as I had to pretty much return to Germany for work.

Hopefully the work front will revert back to the UK soon or I will take to Berlin after my annual trip to the Ring in early July but either way I am really looking forward to putting some miles on her and tickering with her.

This is my third Duke as I have previously owned a 906 Paso and an SP2 888 (should never havce sold that one), whilst overseas I shall be keeping a watch on the forum (whilst I should be working, but don't tell the boss) and hopefully will get out and about and do a few club runs and get to put some faces to names etc.

Welcome Phil,
There's always one that wants to wind you up eh! Thanks Max. Look forward to meeting you out and about on it when back in the UK.

Hi all,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Currently the bike is sat in the garage back in sunny blighty.

I am taking it to the Nurburgring in July followed by a week playing in the Alps.

Once I know what the work situation looks like I shall either park it in the office in Berlin or will be relocating back to the UK but either way I am really looking forward to doing some meets and racking the miles up in the process.
