S2R and Monster Parts coming up for sale

I'm taking the 2005 S2R down to Metropolis this week to talk about part ex on a Hypermotard 796 it's got 18k on the clock, full Arrow system, Uprgraded superbike discs and calipers, Rizoma clip-ons and rear sets. Paintwork is in good nick but a little flaking on the engine paint.

Any ideas what I should be expecting to get part-ex? Might conisder selling here but wanted to check out the easy option first.

Also just posted this front mudguard off my old M600 on Fleabay:

I'd take those extras off and put standard bits on where possible, the dealer wont give you any more or less for it and you can get a better price for them seperately.

Thats a good looking bike Stuart. I would think it is worth around £3250 - £3500 as it is. I know someone who bought one with the same colour scheme and pipes fitted (with the originals as well) with only 3000 miles for £3250 just before Christmas. The sun is out now though and that always helps!
Do assume it is an 800?

I would take the time to try and get those extras off, the bars and rear sets new are £500 alone, you just won't get the money back on them. I had over 2K of extras on my 05 s2r and it only made £4k on ebay and that was a good price to get. If I could rewind the clock I would have spent the extra week or 2 getting back to standard, I could have made an extra 500 or so quid! dont let your hard earned cash be someone else's good fortune!

unfortunately, all the original parts have gone, garage lost the original cans and my ma8 binned his Ducati and needed some new bars so I donated my original ones. Might see if I can pick up some std foot pegs though as the rizoma ones may well fit on the hypermotard.

there is always standard OEM parts for s2r/s4r in the bay, you can pick up standard parts for next to nothing.

I may still have my old exhaust, its in a garage of a flat I rented last year, I never bothered to go and get it. If u want I can make some enquiries and see if its still there???? If it is and u want it you can have it for free if u go get it. Its in Ealing

Thanks Jimmy, that would be brilliant, I'm in Chiswick so Ealing is an easy hop. The bike shop has found the end cans so really jsut lookng for the down pipes and catalytic converter but if it's all there still i can go and clean up ;-)
