She lives to ride again.

Thought i would post some shots of my old, high mileage 600, bought off ebay for £850....34000 miles on year 2000 plate.
It was battered but now being loved, had petrol tank filled and re-sprayed along with seat cover and mud guard, it used to be blue.
Now i need to get engine castings re-sprayed, problem is i'm enjoying riding it too much to strip it down again so i'll live with it for a while.
I can cope with other faults as its a labour of love. Besides it does blast to Knightsbridge from Bromley on my daily commute, so can't be to precious.
As she now staring too look a little tidy i think i should turn up to a Kent ride out, as a newbie and look at all the shinny stuff.....!
If any body interested i used Italia Respray in Essex, a guy call Nick Traveller.

Hi there Starkie, there are a few around your kneck of the woods so keep your eyes open.
Kent meet is down at the Oakdene Cafe in Wrotham the 2nd Sunday each month, usually from about 10am. Feel free to pop along and see us.
And you're bike won't feel out of place at all. Not all of ours are shiny.
